چکیده
Abstract Despite its importance in chemical industry, 4-Nitrophenol (4-NP) is a persistent organic pollutant that has serious effects on the ecosystem. In present study, Box–Behnken design response surface methodology was used to optimize adsorption process parameters for maximum 4-NP removal at 30 ℃ using Fe 3 O 4 /Bt NC. The regression model results suggested optimum adsorbent dosage, initial concentration, pH and contact time were 0.3182 g, 85 mg/L, 11 137.2 min, respectively. showed an of 100%, while 99.5% obtained from batch experiments conditions by model, which confirm validity. data best fitted Freundlich isotherm Pseudo second-order kinetic suggesting existence physical interaction between fabricated composite 4-NP. FTIR analysis mechanism included electrostatic attraction formation new bonds. Obtained suggest NC can be effective complete indicated conditions. Graphical

Adsorption of 4-Chloro-2-nitrophenol onto Nano-ZnO
Nano-ZnO was employed for the adsorption of 4C2NP from aqueous solutions in batch equilibriumexperiments to investigate its adsorption properties. The quantity of 4C2NP adsorbed onto nano- ZnOsurface was measured by UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The effects of contact time, adsorbent dose, pH, andinitial concentration of 4C2NP were investigated. The adsorption found to be strongly influenced by all...
متن کاملAdsorption and Desorption Process of Chromium Ions Using Magnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles and Its Relevant Mechanism
In this study adsorption of Cr(VI) from aqueous solution by Fe3O4 nanoparticles was investigated. Desorption process and recovery of nanoparticles using different solutions were then carried out, and it was observed that NaOH (0.5M) can remove 90% of adsorbed chromium ions. Following the completion of adsorption/ desorption cycles, it was determined that nanoparticles have still had a high abil...
متن کاملAdsorption of Lead and Copper by a Carbon Black and Sodium Bentonite Composite Material: Study on Adsorption Isotherms and Kinetics
The efficiency of using a composite of carbon black and sodium bentonite in treating drinking water contaminated with lead and copper ions was analysed. The effects of pH, contact time, concentration and adsorbent dosage using an adsorbent composite of 20 % sodium bentonite and 80 % carbon black were studied. The adsorption data was tested with respect to Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin iso...
متن کاملRapid Adsorption of Copper(II) and Lead(II) by Rice Straw/Fe3O4 Nanocomposite: Optimization, Equilibrium Isotherms, and Adsorption Kinetics Study
Rice straw/magnetic nanocomposites (RS/Fe3O4-NCs) were prepared via co-precipitation method for removal of Pb(II) and Cu(II) from aqueous solutions. Response surface methodology (RSM) was utilized to find the optimum conditions for removal of ions. The effects of three independent variables including initial ion concentration, removal time, and adsorbent dosage were investigated on the maximum ...
